My review:
Ok. The graphics were just amazing! I can't complain about that! BUT it was too Hollywoodish that's for sure! I had a felling that I'm watching some Hollywood movie rather than an anime ((( Oh well ))

My review:
Here is the story. I watched it awhile ago but totally forgot about it. I wanted to watch Final Fantasy and decided to start from the beginning. It was kinda fun but not too much. It gave me the feeling that I'm playing some old game. Not much more I can say about this anime.

Alternative Name: 東のエデン
Years of Released: January 11, 2009 – Jun 20, 2009
Episodes: 11
Genre: Psychological, Romance
Favorite Characters : Akira Takizawa
My Rating: PG-13
Grade: A+

Summary:
On November 22 2010, ten missiles strike against uninhabited areas of Japan, claiming no victims. This apparent terrorist act is referred to as "Careless Monday" and disregarded by most people. The series begins three months later, with a young Japanese woman named Saki Morimi visiting Washington D.C. as part of her graduation trip. When she gets into trouble, a mysterious Japanese man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, helps her through it. The man appears to have no memory and is completely naked, carrying only a gun and a cell phone charged with 8.2 billion yen in digital money.[1] The cell phone has the phrase, noblesse oblige ("nobility obligates" or "noble's obligation" in English), printed on it. While they are coming back to Japan, they learn that a new missile attack has taken place in their country.

My review:
It got all my attention right away from the very first minute. I love the opening and animation is amazing. The plot was great(even though I need to watch it again because I feel like I didn't get it all). I'm very impressed! I want one of those phones for myself!

Darker Than Black

Alternative Name: 黒の契約者
Years of Released: April 5, 2007 – September 28, 2007
Episodes: 25
Genre: Supernatural, Drama
Favorite Characters : Hei, In
My Rating: PG-13
Grade: A

Summary:
Ten years ago, an inscrutable and abnormal territory known as Hell's Gate appeared in Tokyo, altering the sky and wreaking havoc on the landscape. The heavenly bodies disappeared, replaced by false stars. During this time, people who possess various special abilities emerged. Kept secret from the masses, these individuals, known as Contractors, are able to murder in cold blood. Various nations and organizations around the world use Contractors as spies and assassins, often resulting in violent battles for information. Each fake star has a corresponding Contractor, and they vibrate when their Contractor's power is being used. As such, Contractors are usually identified by their star's Messier catalogue number. However, their abilities are gained at the cost of their humanity. They are implied to lack human emotions which includes no aversions to murder, and they are regarded as extremely rational and logical in their decision making. Contractors are thus named because of their need to always complete a remuneration or payment each time their power is used (ex. eating flowers, breaking fingers, drinking blood). It is not entirely clear what happens to one if he or she fails to complete the remuneration. Contractors are described as being psychologically compelled to complete their remunerative task.

My review:
It was interesting but it took me awhile to get used to it and to get into the world of Darker then Black. I loved Hei and In characters. I'm excited for the second season . We'll see what happens.

Recommend:
Worth watching.

Summary:
Nanako Misonoo is a young high school freshman at the exclusive girl's school Seiran School. When she begins her first year at this school, she falls into a world of female rivalry, love, chaos, and heartbreak. She narrates the story of the series in a series of letters to a young man named Takehiko Henmi, who she calls "Oniisama" (Brother). In reality, Takehiko was her teacher at the cram school she went to earlier. She feels such a strong bond with him that she asks if she could continue corresponding with him. He agrees, and soon she begins writing to him as a "brother." When Nanako starts her new school year at the all-girl Seiran School, she is unexpectedly inducted into the school's Sorority despite having none of the looks, talents, or background needed to become a member. As the series progresses, she becomes involved in the lives of the "Magnificent Three", the three most popular girls in the school.

My review:
It was a good story with a lot of unexpected turns. I really liked the feeling of an old anime. It is unexpectedly refreshing nowadays. I didn't even hope for happy ending but it turned out worse than I expected. But over all "Onii-sama e" is he first shoujo-ai(girls love) anime I actually enjoyed.

You must be in a lyrical mood for "Onii-sama e"

She wants the swordsman to protect her village from an imminent attack by English soldiers; however, the Black Swordsman will only accept a particular genre of books as payment for his services.

My review:
Dark fairy tale. That was only 10 minutes, but how amazing those 10 min were! They did a marvelous job one this one. It's genius! I have no idea how they were capable of pulling this of and to put so much in such a small amount of time. I want to watch ”Comedy” over and over again. The more you watch, the more you understand. Wonderful music of Franz Schubert's "Ave Maria". A very unique drawing style, especially far an anime. I'm very impressed. Bravo!

This is a "must see"!

Rozen Maiden/ Rozen Maiden 2

Posted by Nimfah

Alternative Name: ローゼンメイデン
Years of Released: 7 October 2004 – 23 December 2004/ 20 October 2005 – 5 January 2006
Episodes: 12/12
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Supernatural
Favorite Characters : Shinku
My Rating: PG
Grade: A/A

Summary:
Jun Sakurada is a Junior High School student who refuses to go to school after being traumatized by an embarrassing experience there (see Hikikomori). He has taken to locking himself in his room, never leaving the house, and spends the day ordering goods online and returning them before the date in which he has to pay. His older sister, Nori Sakurada, does everything she can to brighten Jun's dreary existence, but is unable to change his situation.

One day, Jun receives a letter claiming he has won a prize. The letter asks him to choose "Yes" or "No". It states that after he has made his decision, he must place the letter in the drawer of his desk, and Holli will take it to the spirit world. Despite his skepticism, he follows these instructions, and discovers soon after that the envelope has vanished. Moments later, he realizes that a richly detailed wood case has materialized within his room. The box contains a strange realistic doll dressed in French aristocratic (synonymous with Gothic Lolita) attire. Jun examines the doll from every angle before seeing the key and winding up the doll. The doll creaks, stands up on its own, then proceeds to slap him for handling her as crudely as he had. She introduces herself as, "...Shinku, the fifth doll of the Rozen Maiden."

My review:
I enjoyed it. Those dolls were so much fun. I was just wondering why I gave it just A. I think it's because the end was it bit... not as great as I expected I guess. But over all I loved Rozen Maiden. It was not made just for entertaining. There is something to think about as well.

Recommend:
Gilrs will enjoy it. There are walking and talking dolls in there!!! :)))
