Summary: Free! starts with four boys—Haruka, Makoto, Nagisa and Rin—before they graduate from elementary school. They all participated in a swimming tournament and won, though they parted ways. Years later, Haruka, Makoto and Nagisa reunite when they enroll into high school. Not long after, Rin, who was thought to be in Australia, turns up and challenges Haruka to a race and wins. Afterward, Nagisa suggests creating a swimming club and using the run-down outdoor pool. Haruka, Makoto, and Nagisa, and later on, Rei, create the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club and work together to make the club a success.

My review:  Very easy to watch, colorful, and uplifting anime that is full of bishounen characters - the paradise for the fan girls. The plot wasn't heavily oriented on the swimming itself but rather on the relationships between the characters, not that I minded. Nice watch.

Summary:
Yukino Miyazawa is a Japanese high school freshman who is the envy of classmates for her good grades and immaculate appearance. However, her "perfect" exterior is a façade, a charade she maintains to win praise. In the privacy of her own home, she is spoiled, stubborn, a slob, and studies relentlessly and obsessively to maintain her grades. On entering high school, she is knocked from her position at the top of the class by Soichiro Arima, a handsome young man whose very existence Yukino considers a threat to the praise on which she thrives, and she vows to destroy him. When Soichiro confesses that he has a crush on her, Yukino rejects him then boasts about it at home. Her observant little sister Kano points out that her rivalry with him comes from admiration, causing her to rethink her own feelings.


My review:
I liked it. I only wish it to be done in a better quality than it is. That was the only thing that bothered me while watching Kare Kano. Other than that the story and characters are great. In many ways this anime exceeds nowadays romance comedies. I recommend to try it.

Summary:
Daisuke Niwa is a 14-year-old boy who has a special genetic ability: whenever he sees or thinks about his crush, Risa Harada, he turns into the infamous phantom thief Dark. Satoshi Hiwatari is a student at the same school as Daisuke and the Harada twins, as well as the Commander of the police force who is heading the investigation on Dark. He is also member of the Hikari family, a clan of artists which has opposed the Niwa family of thieves for centuries.

My review:
It was a bit boring and way too slow I think. But that's in my opinion. Typical shoujo anime with elements of fantasy. It has it's audience and has right to exist. I tell you more. I know a lot of people who like it a lot. Even guys are among them which is still mystery to me but that's just me. Try it. You may like it or you may not. If you don't then just turn it off. As simple as that.

Summary:
Yuki Cross's earliest memory is of a snowy night in winter, when she was attacked by one vampire and was saved by another, Kaname Kuran.Yuki is the adopted daughter of the Headmaster of Cross Academy, Kaien Cross, and has grown up and become a prefect for the school with one main purpose: for vampires to coexist peacefully with humans . Her fellow guardian, Zero Kiryu, a childhood companion whose parents were killed by a pure-blood vampire, is now determined to kill them all and refuses to trust them. Through a cruel twist of fate, Zero becomes a vampire himself, having been bitten by pure-blood vampire, Shizuka Hio, four years before. Now Yuki must help him fight his curse, as well as recover the lost memories of her past. She must also discover why Kaname, who leads the group of Night class (all of which are also vampires) at Cross Academy as their President, saved her that night and what deep dark secret he is keeping from her...

My review:
I was SO intrigued by the first season. I thought it's gonna be in my top 5 anime. But how disappointed I was by 2nd season... What a pity! 1. It seemed slow. The end just killed me. I was so mad and disappointed. Although it seems like they could make another season (manga is still being published) I don't thing it's gonna change the plot that much(to the way I wanted it to go) so... I guess we'll see.

P.S. I like Zero much better then Kaname. It doesn't mean I don't like Kaname, either.

For those who like vampire stories.

Summary:

But she's been discouraged from confessing to him by a few things: he's a member of "Class A," the top ranking class in school, whereas she's in "Class F"; he gets the top score on every exam; and he's so smart, popular, and handsome that he's been class president every year. When Kotoki finally musters up the courage to present him with a love letter, though, Naoki outright refuses it, telling her point blank--with a look of disgust and boredom--that he doesn't like "stupid girls." Poor Kotoko's worst nightmare! Her heart is broken, but then a change in circumstance forces Naoki and Kotoko to be together every day...!?

My review:
I liked it. But I didn't really like the main characters. Kotoko is very kind but a bit dumb when Naoki is really smart but has such a cold heart. The thing I liked is that the story goes beyond "And they lived happily ever after". Here you can see their actual married life together and it's a big plus. Good story.

Recommend:
For girls and women. It is Shoujo you know.

My review:
Mmm... I don't really think much about it. Boys dressed up like girls and other boys love it? Excuse me but isn't that a bit weird? Anyway I had some laugh but no more than that.

If you really have nothing to do I guess...

Summary:

Her life takes a 180-degrees turn when she meets Edgar J.C Ashenbert, the "Legendary Blue Knight Count" and his crew on a sea voyage to London. Edgar hires her as an adviser during his quest to obtain a treasured sword that was supposed to be handed down to him by his family.

My review:
A light novel. Very easy to watch. For me liking fairies especially :))) Nothing super special but I spent a good time watching it.

Recommend:
For girls.

Summary:

Because this, they had bad blood towards each other.
Later on, Koizumi Risa and Otani Atsushi start relying and helping each other with their own love affairs. As love failed for the both of them, a bond of friendship was formed. Along the bumpy (and comedic) road of friendship, Koizumi Risa fell in love with Otani Atsushi!...Go figure!
Can Koizumi Risa, the tallest girl in the school, make Otani Atsushi, the shotest boy in their class/year, fall for her too? So much ups and downs, twists and turns, and drama and love, in LOVECOM. Lovely Complex.

My review:
Ohhh! I love it! Such a great mix of comedy and romance! Risa and Otani are the cutest couple! Anime never gets old! I watched it many many times.

Recommend:
Great chick flick! Girls will love it!

Summary:

Ever since that fateful incident, Hikari swore to beat Kei in school grades, sporting events - anything. To do this, she has enrolled in the same school as Kei since elementary. Now she attends Hakusenkan, an ultra elite school, that costs her carpenter father a lot of money. Hikari and Kei are the top two students in the school, with Kei holding firmly to that number one position. While Hikari considers Kei to be a rival and important friend, she is completely unaware that Kei loves her. The story primarily focuses on Hikari and her constant attempts to defeat her one and only rival, Kei, and how she finds love in their rivalry...

My review:
I enjoyed it. It was funny. Nothing super special though.

If you have some free time then it will do.

Summary:
Fruits Basket follows the life of high-school student Tohru Honda, who was recently orphaned when her mother, Kyoko Honda, died in a car accident. After that, Tohru lived with her grandfather, but when his house needs remodeling, Tohru resorts to living in a tent in a forest and holds down a job to support herself. Despite suffering many hardships, Tohru remains optimistic.

One day, Tohru comes upon a house in the forest that is the home of her classmate Yuki Sohma and his cousin Shigure Sohma. When the Sohmas discover that Tohru is living in a tent, they are quite surprised by her inner strength. The entire area is Sohma property, and Tohru asks to be allowed to stay in her tent, but then collapses because of a fever brought on by working too hard. A landslide buries her tent, including her mother's picture and school clothes, and she moves into Shigure's house for the night. Desperate for a break from the filth of the house and takeaway meals, she is asked to become a permanent guest in the house, if she cooks and cleans. She accepts, and is being shown her room by Yuki when Kyo Sohma bursts in (through the roof) to challenge Yuki. Tohru, not knowing Yuki's strength, tries to stop Kyo by grabbing him, and as a result he transforms into a cat. She is then hit on the head with a plank of wood, and collapses into Shigure and Yuki, turning them into a dog and rat respectively...

My review:
The most naive and KIND anime I've ever seen. So cute and romantic. I really liked it.


Recommend:
Girls will enjoy it for sure!

Summary:
Ouran High School is a school for the very rich and only the very rich. That is, until Haruhi Fujioka becomes Ouran's first scholarship student and sole poor student, which is quite an accomplishment. Tuition isn't the only thing Haruhi needs to pay for, though; the uniform alone is far to expensive for Haruhi's father's meager wages working at a local gay bar. Instead, Haruhi elects to wear long slacks, polo shirts and a vest, along with thick glasses...

My review:
This is the most hilarious anime I've seen so far!!! I was rolling on the floor and laughing so hard when I was watching it. I've seen it a couple of times already and it never gets old. Love all of them: Haruhi, Tamaki, Keoya, Mori and Honey-sempai and of course the TWINS...

Recommend:
If you are in the mood for a good comedy then it's for you!
