My review:
Very beautiful colorful drawing style. Lots of cute boys and this anime is just a dream for a yaoi fans. There is no yaoi in it but it was made to be SO slash-able!! So many hints of shounen-ai!!! So yeah, I enjoyed it a lot! I guess they didn't make it shounen-ai so that boys could enjoy this too and I know many guys who've seen 07 Ghost.
Recommend:

Kahoko Hino is a student at Seiso Academy, one with an ordinary life. One day, Lili - the mischievous musical fairy who had blessed the original founder of the school - finds Kahoko running late to class.
Delighted that she is able to see him, Lilli grants Kahoko a magical violin, and a place in the school's annual musical competition, which many students in the music department vie to partake in.
Kahoko refuses, only to be pressed on by the fairy, who constantly nags her until she finally gives way to his pleads. She reluctantly accepts the instrument. As she practices her pieces, Kahoko is amazed that she can play any piece on the violin as long as she knows the tune and plays it with her heart. 'La Corda d'oro' literally translates to 'the rope of gold', but it is taken into consideration as 'the golden string'. Primo Passo means 'first step', while Secondo Passo means 'second step'.

I'm not rally into music anime genre but this one I watched with great pleasure. If was filled with great classical music I love so much. Many beautiful boys and romance. What else a girl can wish for =^_^= Very shoujo. Love it.

My review:
Well, it was pretty good. I liked all that alchemist theme and Philosopher's Stone and all but somehow I got a bit bored. I made myself to watch it till the end and I really liked the ending (and the fact that it finally ended). I even wanted to watch the next season but decided to wait for awhile. The plot is really good. I know the reasons why I wasn't attached to it. But I know a lot of people like it and I can see why but I guess it's just not my thing )))

Summary:
Ten years ago, an inscrutable and abnormal territory known as Hell's Gate appeared in Tokyo, altering the sky and wreaking havoc on the landscape. The heavenly bodies disappeared, replaced by false stars. During this time, people who possess various special abilities emerged. Kept secret from the masses, these individuals, known as Contractors, are able to murder in cold blood. Various nations and organizations around the world use Contractors as spies and assassins, often resulting in violent battles for information. Each fake star has a corresponding Contractor, and they vibrate when their Contractor's power is being used. As such, Contractors are usually identified by their star's Messier catalogue number. However, their abilities are gained at the cost of their humanity. They are implied to lack human emotions which includes no aversions to murder, and they are regarded as extremely rational and logical in their decision making. Contractors are thus named because of their need to always complete a remuneration or payment each time their power is used (ex. eating flowers, breaking fingers, drinking blood). It is not entirely clear what happens to one if he or she fails to complete the remuneration. Contractors are described as being psychologically compelled to complete their remunerative task.
My review:
It was interesting but it took me awhile to get used to it and to get into the world of Darker then Black. I loved Hei and In characters. I'm excited for the second season . We'll see what happens.

My review:
It was a good story with a lot of unexpected turns. I really liked the feeling of an old anime. It is unexpectedly refreshing nowadays. I didn't even hope for happy ending but it turned out worse than I expected. But over all "Onii-sama e" is he first shoujo-ai(girls love) anime I actually enjoyed.

Dark fairy tale. That was only 10 minutes, but how amazing those 10 min were! They did a marvelous job one this one. It's genius! I have no idea how they were capable of pulling this of and to put so much in such a small amount of time. I want to watch ”Comedy” over and over again. The more you watch, the more you understand. Wonderful music of Franz Schubert's "Ave Maria". A very unique drawing style, especially far an anime. I'm very impressed. Bravo!

Summary:
Jun Sakurada is a Junior High School student who refuses to go to school after being traumatized by an embarrassing experience there (see Hikikomori). He has taken to locking himself in his room, never leaving the house, and spends the day ordering goods online and returning them before the date in which he has to pay. His older sister, Nori Sakurada, does everything she can to brighten Jun's dreary existence, but is unable to change his situation.
One day, Jun receives a letter claiming he has won a prize. The letter asks him to choose "Yes" or "No". It states that after he has made his decision, he must place the letter in the drawer of his desk, and Holli will take it to the spirit world. Despite his skepticism, he follows these instructions, and discovers soon after that the envelope has vanished. Moments later, he realizes that a richly detailed wood case has materialized within his room. The box contains a strange realistic doll dressed in French aristocratic (synonymous with Gothic Lolita) attire. Jun examines the doll from every angle before seeing the key and winding up the doll. The doll creaks, stands up on its own, then proceeds to slap him for handling her as crudely as he had. She introduces herself as, "...Shinku, the fifth doll of the Rozen Maiden."
My review:
I enjoyed it. Those dolls were so much fun. I was just wondering why I gave it just A. I think it's because the end was it bit... not as great as I expected I guess. But over all I loved Rozen Maiden. It was not made just for entertaining. There is something to think about as well.

My review:
It was a bit boring and way too slow I think. But that's in my opinion. Typical shoujo anime with elements of fantasy. It has it's audience and has right to exist. I tell you more. I know a lot of people who like it a lot. Even guys are among them which is still mystery to me but that's just me. Try it. You may like it or you may not. If you don't then just turn it off. As simple as that.
Alternative Name: Kaze to Ki No Uta, 風と木の詩 Years of Released: November 6, 1987 Runtime: 60 minutes Genre: Drama, Historical, Psychological, Shounen Ai, Tragedy Favorite Characters : Gilbert, Serge My Rating: PG-16 Grade: A+
Summary:
Taking place in the late 19th century, the story is a recollection of his memories of Gilbert Cocteau at Laconblade Academy in Provene, France. Gilbert Cocteau is a promiscuous student who has a reputation for being a boy of corrupt morality since he frequently misses classes and engages in relations with older male students. However, Gilbert is a tortured young man who has been treated like an object all his life rather than a human being. The primary antagonist in the story - Gilbert's uncle, Auguste Beau - is a respected society figure who manipulates and sexually abuses his young nephew. Auguste's influence is so great that Gilbert actually believes that the two are in love, and Gilbert remains enthralled with Auguste, even to the bitter end when he finds out that Auguste isn't quite who he thought he was.
Golden-hearted Serge becomes fascinated with Gilbert, and tries to win his friendship despite being threatened with ostracism and even violence. Gilbert himself even rejects Serge's offer of friendship, although it seems that Serge may be Gilbert's only hope to escape this hellish life.
My review:
Oh wow. I liked it so much. The story is so sad but so touching. Brilliant! When I was watching it I had a feeling that I'm reading some classic literature book of 19th century. I am tempted to say it is the best shounen ai story I came upon so far. I doesn't have any "cute" element neither it is funny but the story is truly deep and sad but beautiful and freeing. It has the same feeling you have on a chilly November evening when you are looking at the setting sun thinking about the times that have came to pass and after closing your eyes you feel cold wind gently playing with your hair. That gentle yet painful feeling.
"Gilbert Cocteau...
You were the
wind stirring my
branches
Can you hear
the song of the wind
and trees?
Can you hear
the tumult of
our youth?
Ahhh... there
must be others
who remember...
their own
days of youth. "

Summary:
The story involves human mutations called "dicloniuses", who grow horns on their heads andpossess telekinetic powers, in the form of invisible "arms" called vectors.
The tendency for violence among dicloniuses varies among characters. Certain scientists contain them in a Facility in cells where they are subject to inhumane experiments to test their abilities or were they await execution for being too dangerous.
An infectious virus is also associated with the mutation. This virus is spred through non-lethal contact with the vectors of a diclonius.
The main non-mutant character in the story is Kouta, who ends up becoming icreasingly involved with these dicloniuses, as they seek refuge from the scientists.
The main diclonius character is Lucy/Nyuu a killer whose alter ego is a hapless, and very cute child whose vocabullary and intelligence is quite limited.
After a large amount of choice occurences the lives of these two characters becomes inexplicably entwined...
My review:
Well, I started watching this one 3 times because of all blood and violence. But somehow I managed to finish watching it. It this cause violence is justified. It actually gives something to the story and sets a certain mood. A plot is intriguing. Too bad that right when you understand everything the show is over. I'm hoping there will be next season. I liked this anime but I still have mixed feeling about it. I can see why there were so many good reviews about it.
Alternative Name: Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei Years of Released: July 7, 2007 – September 23, 2007 Episodes: 12 Genre: Satire, Comedy, School Life Favorite Characters : Sensei My Rating: PG-16 Grade: C
Summary:
Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei revolves around a very pessimistic high school teacher named Nozomu Itoshiki who, at the very beginning of the series, tries to hang himself on a sakura tree. Despite this effort of self-destruction, he is saved by an extremely optimistic girl known only as Kafuka Fuura (though in her effort to save his life, she almost kills him). She explains to him that it is simply unimaginable that he would hang himself on such a nice day, especially in front of such beautiful trees. She decides to nickname Nozomu "Pink Supervisor" , and offers to pay him fifty yen to call him by that nickname. After having enough of the strange girl, Nozomu bolts to the school and starts his homeroom class, but the attempt to escape was in vain as he finds that the girl is one of his students. Not only that, but Kafuka is just the tip of the iceberg: each and every student in his class represents a new personality quirk or bizarre obsession, posing challenges that the suicidally-inclined teacher must overcome in spite of himself...
My review:
It was interesting in the begging but it turned out later that it has no plot. The style of anime is very unique and it's pretty neat. I'll give them some credits for that. There is not much more I can say. I has definitely has it's audience. It's worth a try.

Summary:
Naruto Uzumaki is a young boy who has the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox sealed within him. Twelve years before the start of the series, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked the ninja village Konohagakure, slaughtering many people. In response, the leader of Konohagakure – the Fourth Hokage – sacrificed his life to seal the demon inside his own son Naruto when he was a newborn. Konohagakure, however, regarded Naruto as if he were the demon fox itself and mistreated him throughout most of his childhood. A decree made by the Third Hokage forbade anyone mention the attack of the demon fox to anyone. Years later, Naruto was tricked by the renegade ninja Mizuki into stealing a forbidden scroll, but was stopped by his teacher, Iruka Umino. That encounter made Naruto realize he was the container of the demon fox.
My review:
I love Naruto. Now I can see why it is so popular. I took me awhile to get into all that ninja stuff and now I'm completely cool with that. It got so intense starting from 110 but too bad it didn't last long. If not all the fillers(which are 80 episodes) I would give it an A+. I bet Naruto fans agree with me on that one. But things the way they are so can't do much about it. I love Kakashi! He is one of the funny elements in Naruto. I think I will LOVE Naruto even more when it's over because it has been dragging on for so long now in Naruto Shippuden and I simply don't have enough patience to wait for episode every week. I'll watch the whole thing again when it's over. But anyway I'd say go for it. I know kids love it. I was talking to my 10 year old nephew using Naruto language and I was given that look from his father as if I'm insane. If poor guy doesn't know what is SHARINGAN or BYAKUGAN mean it's not my fault, right? He just doesn't get it...

Summary:
The Reborn! story revolves around a boy named Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada, who is chosen to become the Vongola Family's boss due to him being the great-great-great grandson of the first Vongola boss, who had moved to Japan from Italy during his time. Also, the other candidates for the position of the head of the Vongola Family died. For these reasons, Tsuna is the only remaining heir. As such, Timoteo a.k.a. "Vongola IX," the current head of the family, sends Reborn, an infant hitman from Italy, to train Tsuna. Tsuna then unwillingly undergoes training from Reborn. Reborn's main method of teaching Tsuna is the "Dying Will Bullet" ("Deathperation Shot" in Viz Media's translation of the manga), which will make the person be "reborn" with a stronger self intent on fulfilling his dying will. Through his experiences, Tsuna unconsciously becomes stronger and more confident, which ultimately makes him better suited as the Vongola Family's boss despite continuing to reject his Mafia inheritance.
My review:
I absolutely LOVE it. I don't remember the last time I got so emotionally involved in anime since my I was watching Sailor moon as a kid. It really reminded me of how kids get exited about things and I felt like a child one more time! The first season was got me warmed up and prepared to the second which is my favorite so far! I'll write about 3rd and 4th later when the 5th will end(even though it barely started) cause they are all linked together. Great characters and humor. They really make Mafia theme work in my opinion. Plot is very dynamic which is great. I liked that there weren't a lot of "fillers". Only a little in first season but it wasn't too bad. It got more and more interesting with each arc. Very recommended.

OMG. What a plot. A first a thought it's gonna be some light novel and love triangle. But I didn't expected THAT at all. The last episodes I was watching with my mouth open cause I couldn't believe my eyes. The end..oh man if I knew it was coming I would've thought twice before starting to watch this anime. Overall I can say that from the beginig till the end it kept me it front of my monitor. Good job but the end was too much.

However, her ideal candidate, Mariya Shidō, turns out to be a sadistic crossdressing boy...
My review:
It was... interesting. I don't know why I even watched and even more gave it a B!!! I guess because I like Maria character. Kanako is such a pervert and I can't decide whether it is funny or annoying. 1st episode was so promising but unfortunately there is no set plot whatsoever. The end.. i can't even call it that. Nothing happened there. Anyway the thing I liked was Opening and Closing song. The second season is pretty much the same as first one.

My review:
I didn't expect it to be that good. It was a nice surprise. Anime is full of bright characters and humor. My favorite is Death The Kid with his cute obsession with symmetry. Also Soul, Maka and Black Star are great. Excalibur that drives everyone nuts... Fun! Even though the end was a bit cheesy it didn't change my opinion of anime at all. Great job! Can't wait for second season!!!

Summary:
The series is based on the manga and novel volumes, and sees the return of series regulars, Trish and Lady.
In the show, Dante runs his devil-hunting business, Devil May Cry, while struggling under constant financial debt. There are also two new regular characters - Dante's agent Morrison who visits frequently, and Patty Lowell, a young orphan girl he saved in the first episode, who also visits frequently and shares a father-daughter relationship.
While the show's stories were mostly self-contained, a season-long plot was introduced in the first episode and came to the forefront in episodes 10, 11, and 12.
My review:
I enjoyed it. It wasn't the best anime I've ever seen but good enough. There was some blood but I didn't mind it cause it didn't look real. Dante is a cool dude :)

Summary:
Skip-Beat! is about Kyoko Mogami, a wistful yet cheery sixteen year-old girl who loves her childhood friend, Shotaro, but is cruelly betrayed and thus seeks revenge against him. She used to spend a lot of time at Shotaro's parents' inn and learned a lot about housekeeping, hostelry, and other feminine jobs (sewing, cooking, serving tea traditionally, etc.). Shotaro, not wishing to take over his parents' inn, becomes bored of living in Kyoto and decides to move to Tokyo to pursue a career in music. Sho, as he is called by his fans, asks Kyoko to leave high school in Kyoto Prefecture and her life behind to help him. Upon arrival in Tokyo, Kyoko lives an unreasonably frugal life, spending nothing on herself and doing whatever she can for the freeloading Sho, who eventually becomes ranked seventh in the top twenty most popular entertainers of Japan. One day, however, as Kyoko brings Sho his lunch at a company building, she overhears Shotaro complaining about her to his manager, saying that she is a boring and plain girl with no sex appeal that he'd like to cast away. He then proceeds to sweet-talk and flirt with his manager, in stark contrast to the cold and demanding attitude he usually exhibits towards Kyoko. Unlike other heroines in the same situation, Kyoko doesn't shed many tears when she learns that Sho thinks she's only good for housekeeping. Instead, her "Pandora's box" opens and she vows vengeance on Sho. Enraged, Kyoko attempts to attack Sho, but is instantly carried off by security. Sho mockingly tells her that if she wants revenge, she had better become a bigger star than him. And so, Kyoko, vowing revenge, changes her appearance and enters the entertainment business, facing many challenges along the way. Skip Beat! follows Kyoko's journey to climb the showbiz ladder as she meets interesting people, in the hopes of getting revenge on Shotaro, but also in order to get back her sense of compassion that she had lost when her heart was broken by Sho.

Didn't really like it. Firstly it is Ecchi. Secondly the plot was blurred. Thirdly the end was... it's like there was no end at all. I honestly expected more. That might be my mistake.
Alternative Name: To Aru Majutsu no Index, Toaru Majutsu no Kinsho Mokuroku Years of Released: October 4, 2008 Episodes: 24 Genre: Fantasy, Shounen, Supernatural Favorite Characters : Accelerator My Rating: PG-13 Grade: B-
Summary:
The story is set in a world where supernatural powers exist through science, and magic exists through religion.
In the story, Tōma Kamijō is an ordinary high school boy with terrible academic scores and a power called Imagine Breaker. Imagine Breaker can defeat any other power, but it also undermines Kamijō's own good luck. His Imagine Breaker's immense strength is literally immeasurable, so hapless Kamijō is listed at the supernatural level of 0. He happens to meet a girl in white hanging off his window balcony. The girl says she is being chased by sorcerers, and Kamijō learns that the girl is a Church of England nun whose memories have been forcibly replaced by Index-Librorum-Prohibitorum — the 103,000 forbidden texts of the Church.
My review:
Ok. That was a bit weird especially Church thing. Fighting scenes had too much talking and were too theatrical in my opinion. Weirdness and Pathos: those are the things that come to my mind when I think about Magical Index. The only character I really liked was Accelerator.
P.S. : I would give an A to Index Special. I laughed so hard when I was watching it.
Alternative Name: Kuroshitsuji, Dark Butler, Kuro Shitsuji Years of Released: October 2, 2008 Episodes: 24 Genre: Comedy, Historical, Mystery, Supernatural, Dark Fantasy Favorite Characters : Sebastian Michaelis, Ciel Phantomhive, Grell, Undertaker My Rating: PG-16 Grade: A+
Summary:
In a manor house on the outskirts of Victorian era London, butler Sebastian Michaelis serves Ciel Phantomhive, the twelve-year-old head of an English noble family as well as a toy and candy empire. Sebastian carries out any task required by his master and solves the problems plaguing England with ease and perfections because of his demonic lineage and Faustian contract with his master...
My review:
London, gothic set, dark humor with hardly noticeable tinge of shounen-ai and yet so obvious you should be blind not to see it...Very well made and thought of. You can't help but feel for young yet strong-willed Ciel. And let's not forget our perfect demon Sebastian who can fulfill his master's every wish. Their relationship is truly amazing. Ciel has to be cold and keep his distance from his butler knowing that if he shows a weakness he will devour him or lose interest in his soul and it will be over.
Second season was made mainly for fans in my opinion but I still liked it. New characters Alois Trancy and Claude Faustus were well played. Much more obvious shounen ai theme in second season is exactly what fans were waiting for. Even though I feel sorry for Alois the ending was quite satisfying leaving the needed room for imagination.

My review:
One of the bests plot I've seen so far!!! I heard good things about it and started watching it a couple of times but couldn't get over a violence and blood that is the first thing you see. But finally I made and effort and I don't regret it at all!!! I thought anime was over after 4th episode but it kept going and I started to loose it. Did not get what's going on at all. Where is the truth and what's real and what's not. Then when I started to understand it a little and then I understood that I didn't understand anything at all!!! That's so awesome! My respect to authors. I'm so amazed who they could combine violence and kindness because it is one of the most violent and at the same time kind anime! The first season is just a mess. The second is not violent and explains what happened in the first one. "Nipaah"

Check it out for sure BUT be ready for it!!!

My review:
It reminded me Loveless a bit at first. But, I would get rid of half of episodes which were unnecessary and just left the main story line. I think that would made Monochrome Factor even better. And the end was entertaing but I'm hoping for a second season!!! Love it!
Recommend:
Check it out, especially Shounen-Ai fans (even though there isn't a lot of it)

Alternative Name:,Pettoshoppu obu Horāzu Years of Released: March 1999 Episodes: 4 OVA (25 min each) Genre:Horror, Mystery Favorite Characters : Count D My Rating: R Grade: A
Summary:
Count D is the mysterious caretaker of a pet shop in Los Angeles' Chinatown. Each of D's pets, which all have strangely humanoid appearances, comes with a contract with three major points. These points differ for each animal sold, and breaking this contract usually results in dire (and sometimes disturbing) consequences for the buyer, for which the pet shop claims no liability.
Individual chapters of Pet Shop of Horrors are often based on these consequences, and are each written as a stand-alone story, usually introducing one or more new characters in each chapter. With the exception of the main characters and their families, it is rare for a character to carry over to a later chapter, providing the series with a very episodic nature.
The detective Leon Orcot is used to tie the chapters together into an ongoing plot, usually in the form of a subplot within each chapter. Initially he suspects Count D of malicious criminal activity and using the pet shop as a front for drug trafficking. As the series progresses, he learns more about the pet shop and Count D himself, entering into a strange friendship of sorts with the Count as he works to uncover the truth.
My review:
I enjoyed id. Well done!

Alternative Name: Sukisho! Sukisyo! I like what I like, so it can't be helped Years of Released: January 8, 2005 Episodes: 13 (Including OVA) Genre: Romance, Comedy, Yaoi(boys love) Favorite Characters : Ran My Rating: PG-16 Grade: B
Summary:
High-school student Sora Hashiba has been hospitalized after falling from the fourth floor of the school building. On his first night back in the dormitory, he wakes to find a strange boy addressing him by the name "Yoru." The stranger identifies himself as "Ran" and says he's Sora's new roommate. The next day, Sora's childhood friend and dorm manager, Matsuri Honjou, informs Sora that the other boy, whom Matsuri identifies as Sunao Fujimori or "Nao-kun," is actually another childhood friend of Sora's. Sora doesn't remember meeting Sunao before. In fact, Sora can't remember much of anything regarding his past, and the series follows his quest to regain his memory.
Sora soon learns why Sunao identified himself as "Ran" that first night: Both he and Sora have alternate personalities. Sora's is Yoru, a powerful protector and the lover of the more dependent, feminized Ran. The existence of these alternate personalities, and the relationship between them, has some mysterious connection with Sora's fall from the window and his forgotten past. The alternate personalities' passionate relationship is a far cry from the hostility and distrust between Sora and Sunao. Because Yoru and Ran possess them arbitrarily, Sora and Sunao frequently find themselves in embarrassing situations when they regain control of their minds.
My review:
Mmm... as far as I remember I was pretty good. The plot was alright. Anime doesn't claim to be a masterpiece so we are good. That's about it.
